Merchants can accept checks online just like they accept credit cards online with Telecheck ICA. The great thing about Telecheck ICA is that you not only can accept checks, if you get an approval, the funds are guaranteed! Once you get an approval the funds are deposited into your checking account in two business days regardless if the check bounces. Just like accepting credit cards, you can accept checks in two ways.
- You can accept checks manually through a virtual terminal.
- You can accept checks automatically from your Website by putting simple HTML scripts into your Web page.
Telecheck ICA is not included in the pricing for an Internet merchant account and First Data Global Gateway.
The pricing is:
- $35 setup
- 3.5% discount rate
- $25 monthly minimum. (3.5% or $25, whichever is greater each month)
- 25 per transaction
- $10 monthly gateway fee

Telecheck ICA Guidelines
- Personal, business checking, or savings accounts are accepted
- Merchants are funded via Automated Clearing House (ACH) in 2 banking days
- The maximum warranty amount is $1,000
- Merchants must have been in business for at least a year to qualify.
- Merchants must have an Internet merchant account in addition to Telecheck ICA
